By preparing young workers for movement jobs, building the leadership and capacity of worker leaders and organizers, and educating academics, social justice groups and other allies on worker-led campaigns, Labor South is building the infrastructure to strengthen organizing in the US South. Labor South is developing a career pipeline with young working class people, strengthening labor organizations and movement infrastructure, educating workers and allies on Southern labor history, and expanding partnerships between the labor movement and allies to advance economic justice and improve the lives of working people.
